|New York State car inspections are a yearly, mandatory requirement for any vehicle owner. Now, this typically mundane task can make a big difference in the lives of other Buffalonians. Casullo’s Automotive Services Inc. has announced a “Car Inspection for a Cause” campaign whereby 100% of the cost of the inspection will benefit a great non-profit–the Heritage Centers of WNY.
“Together we can make a difference,” said Rocco Casullo, president of Casullo’s Automotive Services, Inc. “Any and every vehicle owner is required to pay up to $21 per year to have their car or truck inspected. We value our customers, as well as this very deserving and important local charity. So why not pay it forward? It’s something we can all feel good about.”
The 2014 Casullo’s Car Inspection for a Cause runs through the entire year. Casullo’s plans to issue donations to the charity several times per year. Those visiting the shop will also notice pacing boards to show how much money has been raised for Heritage Centers.
Casullo’s is located at 2783 Elmwood Ave in Kenmore. The shop is open five days per week, Monday – Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Inspections can be made by appointment by calling 876-3567.
Heritage Centers is a local non-profit that employs over 900 people and serves more than 3,000 individuals with disabilities (and their families) each year. Individualized services include, but are not limited to: early intervention, education, residential, vocational, service coordination, legal and advocacy programming.
